MISCHIEF: An Ide Road man reported Saturday to Niagara County Sheriff's deputies that an unknown person scratched the driver's side of his 2007 Chevrolet Silverado truck. The damage is estimated to be about $1,000, as the deep scratch stretches from the mirror to the rear wheel well. An investigation is continuing.

LARCENY: The Niagara County Sheriff's Office said a Maple Road couple reported Saturday an unknown person took a number of items from their unlocked vehicle, a 2022 GMC Sierra pickup truck. The items that were taken include a silver Compaq laptop computer, a white iPod, three Canon digital cameras and a brown leather Kenneth Cole wallet. Inside the wallet was a driver's license, three credit cards and three debit cards. The estimated value of the stolen items is $2,350, deputies said.
