Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — Hartland

GRAND LARCENY: Sunday morning, a Ridge Road resident told Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies that some time overnight, an unknown person entered their barn and removed over 600 animal traps, approximately 100 fur stretchers and various other animal trapping supplies. Also stolen from inside the barn were six Coleman coolers, an undetermined amount of hand tools and power tools including jig saws, circular saws and reciprocating saws. Total loss was stated as $17,680. Patrol observed numerous shoe/boot prints in the dirt outside of the west side man door to the barn.
