TRESPASS: William R. Timkey III, 39, 24 Cherry St., was charged with second-degree criminal trespassing. Lockport Police said a woman reported that Timkey entered her apartment without her permission. He had a key and the woman said she doesn’t know how he got it. Timkey turned himself in on Wednesday.

CONTEMPT: Edward N. Wright, 30, 42 Euclid Ave., Buffalo, was charged Wednesday with first-degree criminal contempt. A Pine Street woman told Lockport Police she saw Wright riding his bicycle on Locust Street, despite the woman having a full stay away order of protection against him. The order reportedly says he can’t come within 10 blocks of her residence. Wright was held for court.

Town of Lockport

POSSESSION: Brandyn D. Archie, 22, of Lockport, was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of marijuana. The New York State Police said Archie was given an appearance ticket on Robinson Road.

DWI: Brett C. Backes, 23, 6169 Keller Ave., Newfane, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Backes was reportedly seen running a red light at the Upper Mountain and Saunders Settlement roads intersection, all while talking on a cell phone. While speaking with Backes, a deputy determined Backes was intoxicated. His blood alcohol content was .2 percent, according to a chemical test. Backes was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail.
