Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — FIGHT: A large fight was reported around 6 p.m. Monday at the playground on Birchwood Drive, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. When the responding deputy arrived, several people were yelling at each other and several were leaving the area. No neutral witnesses were located, and it was unclear who started the fight, the Sheriff's Office said. All of the participants involved in the fight admitted that there was an ongoing issue between the parties fighting for several weeks. The responding deputy advised everyone involved to stay away from each other.

DWI: Kenneth J. Gula, 50, 120 Berkshire Drive, Rochester, was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right around 12:45 a.m. June 7. Gula was remanded to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.
