DWI: Scott M. Perry, 22, 18 Bewley Parkway, upper, was charged with driving while intoxicated, no inspection, failure to signal, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of a change Saturday. While responding to a report, police observed a vehicle turn on Genesee Street from Pine Street at 6:16 a.m. According to the report, Perry failed to stop for the police car and drove about two blocks. Perry had an odor of alcohol, glassy eyes and slurred speech. He failed field sobriety tests.
DWI: Ashley M. Smith, 23, 4021 Peet St., Middleport was charged driving while intoxicated, failure to signal and two equipment violations Saturday. According to report, Smith had her left turn signal on at a traffic light at 3:51 a.m. but turned right. She left the designated lane. There was an odor of an alcoholic beverage and she failed field sobriety tests.
