HARASSMENT: Scott Hemperly, 52, 91 Caledonia St. upper apartment, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment Tuesday. According to the arrest report, the victim filed an aggravated harassment complaint in April. The texts continued and she received a letter from Hemperly on July 22. The victim wanted to pursue charges. On Tuesday, Hemperly turned himself in on an arrest package. 

MARIJUANA: Dana Larie Rightmyer, 19, 283 Elmwood Ave. was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, loud music, using another person’s license and operation of a vehicle Sunday. According to the arrest report, Rightmyer was stopped for a civil protection order violation at 9:40 p.m. on Hawley Street. There was an odor of marijuana and a bag of marijuana found, police said.

ASSAULT: Shannon V. Hill, 28, 161 Genesee St. upper was charged with third-degree assault and third-degree menacing Sunday. The police responded to a domestic incident Sunday on Genesee Street. According to the arrest report, Hill punched the victim in the face after she received a call from another man. The victim signed a volunteer statement. 

POSSESSION: Billie Jo Cassenti, 35, 54 Levan St. upper was charged with seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Sunday. Police responded to a disabled vehicle partially on the roadway on Main Street at 1:25 p.m. According to the arrest report, Cassenti said she ran out of gas and was waiting for a tow truck. Cassenti was arrested for failure to answer a summons. Cocaine was found in her purse as her property was being logged, police said.

DWI: Richard J. Wodka, 29, 3773 Randall Road, Ransomville was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, use of other vehicles, failure to keep right and aggravated DWI Sunday. According to the arrest report, Wodka was stopped for a traffic violation at 2:01 a.m. on West Avenue. Wodka had red glassy eyes and slurred speech, police said. He failed field sobriety tests, according to officers.

TRESPASS: Justin Taylor Martin, 40, 6142 Ruhlmann Road, apt. 2 was charged with obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest, trespass and disorderly conduct Saturday. The police were dispatched to investigate a trespass on Dayton Street. According to the report, Martin was lurking around the yard and unsuccessfully attempted to enter the residence. The victim called the police and Martin left the yard through a back alley where he was located. Martin ran towards Vine Street and was tackled by police after a brief foot chase. After a struggle, Martin was placed into custody. The victim requested an order of protection.
