CONTEMPT: Adam P. Morris, 36, 248 South St. apt. 1 was charged Wednesday with second-degree criminal contempt and trespassing. According to the arrest report, Morris entered the property of a South Street resident at about 11 p.m. June 28, got into his vehicle and drove off. Nothing was reported missing, but the lock was changed on the garage. Morris has property in the garage, but there is a full stay away order. Morris turned himself in Wednesday morning.

SHOPLIFTING: Alissa Stevens, 21, 6520 Ridge Road was charged Tuesday with petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy. Walmart on South Transit Road reported to Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies a man and woman were seen taking some items, totaling $54.97, and we’re leaving the store without paying. The man threw down the items and took off, but store an employee stopped Stevens. Stevens was taken into custody and sent to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail. She is to appear today in Lockport Town Court.
DWI: Jacob A. Wilson, 17, 2396 Lockport-Olcott Road was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated, operation of a motor vehicle after consuming alcohol under the age of 21 and failure to stop at a stop sign. The Niagara County Sheriff’s Office said Wilson and a passenger were found with his vehicle overturned in a ditch on Ridge Road. Deputies reportedly could smell alcohol on Wilson. Wilson said he stopped at the intersection of Purdy and Ridge roads, then accelerated but the vehicle could not turn and they went into the ditch. Wilson reportedly failed all but one field sobriety test. Two different readings showed Wilson’s blood alcohol content at .15 percent and .16 percent. Wilson was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail.
