 ASSAULT: Jonathan M. Johnson, 25, 144 West Ave., was charged with third-degree assault around 10 a.m. Friday for an incident on Thursday, Lockport Police said. Johnson was due in court Friday. 

MARIJUANA: Franklin D. Johnson, 44, 1118 Ashland Ave., Niagara Falls, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and several equipment violations around 2 a.m. Friday, Lockport Police said. He was held on $250 bail and is due in Lockport City Court on June 2. 

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Johnnie E. Edmundson, 56, and Ronnie J. Wall, 58, both living in apartments at 161 Cottage St., were charged with disorderly conduct around 5:30 p.m. Thursday after fighting on the front lawn of their apartment building, Lockport Police said. Both men are due in Lockport City Court on June 2.

LOST OR STOLEN PROPERTY: A Ridge Road Express bus driver reported finding a CPAP machine on the side of the road on the 1900 block of Transit Road around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. The machine was brought back to the bus garage. The machine contained no information that would identify the owner, the Sheriff's Office said. The machine was taken to the Sheriff's Office and logged into property.

LARCENY: A man who owns rental property on Bear Ridge Road reported that several items were missing from the home sometime between April 26 and Thursday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office said. The last tenants who were in the home were evicted and moved out on April 31, the man said. The man was unsure whether the items were taken before or after the tenants left. The items taken were three window sashes, three interior lights, two ceiling fans and a thermostat. The total value of the items is $980, the man said. There were no signs of forced entry, although the front door was unlocked when the man arrived at the home, the Sheriff's Office said. The case was closed pending further information.
