CHARGED: Sharde Klotzbach, 20, 89 Pine St., Apt. 2 was charged with obstruction of governmental administration on Thursday. The police were flagged down by a man who heard a woman calling for police and saw her being dragged by the hair into an apartment. According to the report, the police heard two women inside the apartment. A woman said she was just playing with a friend and yelled for someone to call the police. A woman could be heard in another part of the apartment saying, “You shouldn’t have choked me.” The police needed assurance the woman was not injured. Klotzbach reportedly said, “I know my rights. I don’t have to give my (expletive) name. You don’t have a search warrant.” Klotzbach aggressively came to the door and said she would not give any information.
GRAND LARCENY: A Maple Road resident reported Thursday she recently noticed unauthorized charges on her checking account. The 70 fraudulent charges date back to July which is the time when she was hospitalized for several months. Fraudulent charges totalled $4,232. All the transactions are done in businesses in the Lockport area.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: A Hartland Road man reported his vehicle was damaged by scrap metal that fell out of a moving pickup truck at 10:30 a.m. Thursday on Rochester Road. A large piece of scrap steel struck the windshield of the victim’s car. The windshield shattered and the left side portion of the vehicle was scratched.
GRAND LARCENY: A Johnson Creek Road resident reported Friday that $1,520 in hunting equipment was stolen from his property. The victim returned from hunting and left the equipment on the front porch. Missing items included binoculars, camera, camouflage pants, insulated hunting jacket, knit hat, LL Bean pack, range finder, release for bow, deer calls and a swing blade knife.
