CONTEMPT: Kenneth A. Bregy, 46, 8070 Sims Road was charged Wednesday with criminal contempt and third-degree menacing. According to the arrest report, Bregy approached the victim in a threatening manner on the second floor of the Niagara County Courthouse after a family court hearing on Monday. He came within three feet of the victim and threatened her. She feared for her safety, police said. The incident was witnessed and an arrest package was filed. Bregy turned himself in 9:05 a.m. on Wednesday.

Town of Lockport

LARCENY: Ashley T. Stowe, 30, Lockport was charged Tuesday with petit larceny, New York State Police reported. Stowe was given an appearance ticket on Lincoln Avenue.

DWI: Glenda A. Chausse, 54, 3530 Lockport-Olcott Road was charged Wednesday with driving while intoxicated. While traveling on Day Road, deputies saw Chausse driving with her high beams on. When deputies turned around for a traffic stop, Chausse reportedly swerved out of the northbound lane. Deputies said they could smell alcohol on Chausse and that she had red, glassy eyes and slurred speech. She was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail.

Newfane

DWI: Daniel J. Nadolny, 59, 2313 Riverview Drive, Wilson was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated. Niagara County Sheriff's deputies said Nadolny was driving 62 miles per hour in a posted 45 mile per hour zone. While speaking with Nadolny, deputies said they could smell an odor of alcohol on him. Nadolny reportedly showed some impaired motor coordination while getting his license. Nadolny failed a few soberity tests and registered a .18 percent on a breath screening test, the arrest report said. He was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250.
