CONTEMPT: Daniel R. Potter, 54, 22 VanBuren St. rear, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt Thursday. According to the report, on March 23 Potter blocked the car of the complainant while she was at work on Niagara Street. She told Potter to leave her alone and he allegedly refused. She had to drive over the curb to get away. The victim has a stay away order of protection against Potter from the Town of Lockport. Potter appeared at the Town of Lockport court on another charge and he was transported to the City of Lockport.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF: A Judy Street resident reported Tuesday that her above-ground swimming pool valued at $4,000 was damaged Tuesday. According to the report, the complaint got a phone call from her neighbor who stated her above ground swimming pool is leaking water. There was a small puncture hole located in the wall near the bottom of the pool. The Mighty Sun pool is 24-feet round and 7-feet deep.

Clarence

DWI: Amy A. Dauber 28, Tonawanda Creek Road, Lockport, was charged at 1:30 a.m. Thursday with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Transit Road. According to reports, state police stopped a vehicle allegedly operated by Dauber for speeding. A trooper observed signs of possible intoxication while interviewing Dauber. She failed roadside sobriety tests and a breath test showed a blood alcohol level of 0.13 percent. She was released to a third party.
