DWI: Jeffrey J. Francis, 23, 184 Vine St. was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated. According to an arrest report from the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, Francis was seen driving south on South Transit Road with his headlights off. While speaking with Francis, deputies said he had an odor of alcohol on him and glassy eyes. He reportedly failed a few field sobriety tests and had a .17 percent blood alcohol content reading. Francis was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail.
DWI: Michael C. Moyer, 32, 3229 Bellreng Drive, Niagara Falls was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated. Niagara County Sheriff’s Office reported Moyer was found on Saunders Settlement Road, parked and with his head down and eyes closed. He woke up and seemed disoriented, deputies said, and smelled like alcohol. He reportedly had glassy eyes and slurred speech. Moyer said he had come from a friend’s house in Lockport and was at the Buffalo Bills game earlier in the day. Moyer reportedly had a .1 percent blood alcohol content reading and was taken to Niagara County Jail on $250 bail. He is to report Wednesday to Cambria Town Court.
