LARCENY: A Burch Road man reported to Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies that sometime Saturday he saw his Clarke 130-amp welder was missing. The $300 welder was last seen two days earlier, the report said. Surrounding neighbors said they did not see anyone enter the pole barn that housed the welder, deputies said.

GRAND LARCENY: Deputies were called to Chameleon Pools on Mapleton Road on Saturday, where they spoke with the company’s president who said multiple items were taken from the business between March 20 and April 14. The parts taken reportedly totaled $4,113 and include such things as reducers, heavy duty clamps and hoses. The company is reviewing surveillance video. Most of the missing pieces were in the rear of the business, stored outside, the company said, but they could have been taken from the locked storage units. A report has been filed, deputies said.
