Cambria

IMPERSONATION: A Saunders Settlement, Sanborn woman told deputies last week when she checked her bank account on her cell phone, she found that there was a $25 charge that was not authorized by her. The victim found that the transaction was made through Amazon online. The woman was advised to file a police report. 

Newfane

MISCHIEF: A West Creek Road, Burt man reported Saturday to deputies an unknown person put a plastic pop bottle in his mail box in front of his residence. The plastic bottle contained aluminum foil and believed to be Drain-O which caused the bottle to explode and damage the plastic mail box. A smaller vehicle was heard leaving the scene south bound on West Creek Road.

Pendleton

TRESPASS: A Town of Lockport man reported Saturday that someone took his tree stand and 12 climbing pegs from his grandfather's Fisk Road property. The items were valued at $260, the report said.

Ransomville

HARASSMENT: Deborah S. Stewart, 57, 106 Dorwood Park, was charged Thursday with second-degree harassment. Niagara County Sheriff's deputies said a Dorwood Park woman reported that Stewart had been yelling profanities at her all day. Deputies reported that Stewart was highly intoxicated and yelled several profanities at the victim, then spit at her face. Deputies tried to speak with Stewart, but she reportedly was very uncooperative and refused to answer the door. Stewart reportedly started yelling at deputies outside of a window and was highly intoxicated. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due May 21 in Wilson Town Court.

Royalton

LARCENY: A 2008 Yamaha 250 Raptor all-terrain vehicle, valued at $2,000, was taken Saturday from a Riddle Road man, deputies reported. The ATV was not registered and information was forwarded to the state, deputies said.

Town of Lockport

BURGLARY: A Sherman Drive woman reported to deputies Saturday she found her house burglarized after she returned from Florida. A 50-inch television was taken, as was a smaller, flat-screen television. About $100 in coins was also taken, raising the total value of the missing items to $1,000, the report said. A report was filed.

DWI: Gino Sposito, 54, 6244 Rapids Road, was charged Saturday with driving while intoxicated. Deputies said they saw Sposito heading south on South Transit Road, but he reportedly failed to yield the right of way when entering the roadway, nearly causing a collision, deputies said. Sposito was stopped on South Transit Road at Rapids Road, where he reportedly appeared to have glassy eyes, impaired speech and had an odor of alcoholic beverages on his breath. Sposito reportedly failed multiple field sobriety tests, while an ALCO-sensor test showed a positive reading for alcohol, the report said. He also had a .14 percent blood alcohol count. Sposito was arrested and remanded to the Niagara County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.

HARASSMENT: Stephanie D. McCollum, 26, 6555 Lincoln Place was charged Saturday with second-degree harassment. Deputies were called to Lincoln Place because of a fight. When they arrived, the fight had ended, but an Olcott Street woman told deputies that she came out to get into her vehicle. This is when McCollum allegedly came running over and punched the victim several times on the right side of the face with a closed fist. McCollum was given an appearance ticket for Lockport Town Court.
