• MISCHIEF: An Akron Road woman reported Monday that an unknown person slashed the left front and rear tires of her vehicle. Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said it appeared a small knife was used to puncture the tires, which were valued at $100.

• LARCENY: An Eagle Drive man reported an LG 42-inch flat screen TV was taken from his home while he was away briefly on Tuesday. According to the sheriff’s office, the victim said he left his home unlocked while he walked to the mail boxes at the entrance of the manufactured housing park, and the TV was gone when he returned. The TV is valued at $600.

• D.W.I.: Scott T. Carr, 53, 5972 Elmwood Place, Newfane, was charged with driving while intoxicated Sunday. A Niagara County sheriff’s deputy initiated a traffic stop on Carr’s vehicle after observing it drive over the median on Young Street and weave between the median and road shoulder. The deputy determined that Carr exhibited signs of alcohol intoxication and charged him. Later testing showed Carr’s blood alcohol content was 0.18 percent, the arrest report said. Carr was held on $250 bail ahead of his arraignment this week in Town Court.

Royalton

• LARCENY: An Orchard Place resident reported items were taken from his parked vehicle sometime over the weekend. According to the sheriff’s incident report, missing items include a Garmin Nuvi 3590 GPS unit and a cell phone. There was no apparent damage to the vehicle.
