Shawn M. Shanahan, 24, 37 Hyde Park, Lockport was charged at 9:30 p.m. Monday with criminal contempt, criminal mischief, meancing and endangering the welfare of a child. Police responded to 20 Oliver St. where officers found a victim walking barefoot outside and holding her baby. The victim told officers that she was inside her apartment with Shanahan,who is her ex-boyfriend and the father of her baby. The victim alleged that Shanahan began to argue with her, started to yell and then kicked a baby gate between two rooms. The victim went to another room to dial 911 but Shanahan followed her and demanded the phone. She gave it to him and then fled out the back door with her child. Shanahan admitted to breaking the gate.

Linda A. Glasby, 52, 6343 Robinson Road Apt. B7, Lockport, was charged at 6:56 p.m. Friday with harassment after sheriffs deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in the hallway of Glasby’s apartment building. When Patrol arrived, all parties were yelling profanities down the hallway. A victim told deputies that Glasby confronted her in the hallway about keys that were misplaced in Glasby’s apartment. The victim alleges Glasby then grabbed her, scratched her arms and spit in her face. Glasby was taken to the Niagara County Jail where bail was set at $100.
DWI: Marisz Swider, 36, 24 Sunnyside St., Lockport, was charged at 9:04 p.m. Friday with felony driving while intoxicated, driving on the shoulder, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right after patrol observed the vehicle cross the fog line and center line multiple times while traveling east on Strauss Road. The deputy could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Swider’s breath and noticed signs of intoxication. Patrol noticed a cold, partially full Labatt Blue bottle on the rear passenger floor with an amount of beer spilled under the bottle. There was also a bottle cap from a Labatt Blue beer bottle on the driver’s floor. According to the report, Swider admitted to drinking four beers. He tested positive on an alcosensor but he refused a chemical blood alcohol test. A DMV background check revealed Swider was convicted of DWI in December 2009. POSSESSION:
Nicole L. Rosselli, 24, 135 Pine St., Lockport, was charged at 8:10 p.m.Saturday with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana fter deputies responded to Chestnut Drive on a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival they found Rosselli, who matched the description. Rosselli became argumentative and was detained. Patrol patted her down and felt a large object in a right pocket. Asked what it was and Rosselli allegedly replied, “Oh, please don’t look at that because I’ll be going to jail.” Patrol removed the object that turned out to be a sandwich bag that contained 6 blue pills, 17 small baggies containing alleged marijuana and more alleged marijuana rolled up in plastic wrap. Patrol also found 15 green rectangular pills in a metal container.
Mark D. Pyc, 54, of Lockport was charged by State Police at 1:41 p.m. Monday with possession of a forged instrument. He was released on his own recognizance.
FRAUD: An Appleton woman complained to sheriff’s deputies on Saturday that an unknown person accessed her “Bill Me Later” account to purchase a computer. The victim said she logged into her account Saturday and noticed a transaction that she did not make. She said sometime on Friday, an unknown person made an online purchase from The Apple Store for a Mac Book Pro and the total amount charged to her account was $1,318.68. She was advised by patrol.
