City of Lockport
• TRESPASS: Gregory S. Bentley, 31, and Matthew J. Bentley, 25, both of 421 Vine St., were charged with second-degree criminal trespass Thursday. Lockport Police were called as a man was seen climbing through a vacant building on Pine Street at 1:30 a.m. One Bentley brother was seen coming through a door and the other was laying on the floor in a room in the building, according to the arrest report. Both men were released on their own recognizance and will appear in court Monday.
• ASSAULT: Keith William Hill, 22, 83 South St., apt. 2, was charged with third-degree assault and third-degree menacing Wednesday. Hill is accused of punching a woman in the face, according to police. Hill was released on his own recognizance and will appear in court Monday.
Town of Lockport
• MARIJUANA: Asad R. Hixon, 22, 3243 Dudley Ave., Niagara Falls, was charged Wednesday with unlawful possession of marijuana and promoting contraband into prison. Hixon is accused of having marijuana on him while incarcerated at Niagara County Jail, the Sheriff’s Office said. Hixon is due in Lockport Town Court on Nov. 7.

• BURGLARY: A Rochester Road woman reported that, sometime in the past month, an unknown person opened her safe and took a number of rings. Missing jewelry includes a 1/4 karat rose ring, a 3/4 karat gold band, a 1/2 karat gold band and a man’s wedding band, valued together at $3,700. There wasn’t any sign of forced entry, according to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office.
