ASSAULT: Philip P. Juliana, 50, 235 Washburn St. was charged with third-degree assault Tuesday. According to the report, Juliana and the victim were heard screaming at each other.  The victim was bleeding and there was blood on Juliana’s knuckles. The victim had allegedly been punched several times and was taken to Eastern Niagara Hospital - Lockport.

MARIJUANA: Justin J. Snead, 21, 6552 Lincoln Place, Apt. C was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Monday. According to the report, Snead was seen on South Transit Street and the police are familiar with him. He had marijuana in his pocket. In July,  Snead was charged by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Department with first-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

MISCHIEF: Joel Heschke, 20, 32 Corinthea St. was charged with criminal mischief, loud engine and an equipment violation Monday. The police observed a vehicle with a loud engine, driving without its headlights illuminated and tires squealing on Outwater Drive. According to the report, Heschke said he was just blowing off steam. There was damage to the west end of Outwater Drive.

BURGLARY: A property owner on North Canal Road reported an unknown person entered his unlocked barn on the property and stole a 2004 Yamaha YZ 450F dirt bike. The tenant of the property reported that sometime during the night Saturday, she believed she heard a dirt bike start. It appeared the dirt bike, valued at $2,500, was ridden away from the scene, traveling northbound from the property. 

MARIJUANA: Paul H. O’Rourke, 21, 8772 Chestnut Road was charged with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana Monday. According to the report, O’Rourke took a can of Red Bull from the 7-Eleven on Davison Road. He had marijuana in his pocket.
