DWI: Juan J. Ramallo, 41, of Lockport charged with driving while intoxicated and speeding Thursday. According to the New York State Police arrest report, Ramallo was stopped on the Locust Street Extension at 6:03 a.m. His blood alcohol content registered above .08 percent.

Royalton

DWI: Kelly L. Bruning, 35, 8780 Akron Road, Akron was charged Thursday with driving while intoxicated, moved from lane unsafely, drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on the highway and aggravated DWI. According to the arrest report, Bruning was stopped on Akron Road for a traffic violation. She reportedly said she was driving around drinking vodka and there was the odor of an alcoholic beverage, Niagara County Sheriff’s deputies said. Bruning had slurred speech, glassy bloodshot eyes and impaired motor coordination, the report said. She failed a field sobriety test and almost fell down. She registered a .28 percent blood alcohol content, deputies reported. Bruning was remanded to the Niagara County Jail where her bail was set at $250. She is to appear Tuesday to the Town of Royalton Court.
