FALSE PERSONATION: Ryan W. Christy, 26, 298 Fenton St. lower, Buffalo was charged with seventh degree possession of a controlled substance, false personation, an equipment violation, unlawful possession of marijuna and speeding Tuesday. Christy was stopped for a traffic infraction at 12:30 a.m. on South Transit Street. According to the report, Christy gave the wrong name and then admitted he lied. He was found with a baggie of marijuana and had suboxone without a prescription. There was a warrant for Christy out of Amherst and he was turned over to Amherst police.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Hermond F. Walker, 24, 307 Beattie Ave. Apt. 4 was charged with disorderly conduct Monday. Police responded to a disturbance on Beattie Avenue at 9:21 p.m. According to the report, a downstairs tenant complained of a flooded apartment leaking into the lower apartment. Walker was not at the scene. When Walker returned he was irate and allegedly swore at the police and the tenant.

CHARGED: Kevin Francis Foley, 27, 394 Lincoln Ave. Lockport was charged for unlawful possession of marijuana. Jason Eric Jones, 9844 Lower Lake Road, Barker was charged with operating while registration suspended, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and unregistered motor vehicle Monday. According to the report, the Niagara County Sheriff’s patrol was alerted to a vehicle with a suspended registration that was stopped on Chestnut Road. Jones’ registration was suspended in July. There was the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Foley said he did have marijuana. Jones was transported to the Niagara County Jail on $250 police bail.

Town of Lockport

MARIJUANA: David M. Hawley, 25, 1707 East Ave. Barker was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana Monday. Hawley was sitting in the backseat passenger side. According to the report, the patrol located a smoking bowl with a green leafy vegetable matter identified as marijuana.
