Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — • DWI: Danielle J. Parker, 3652 Ewings Road, Lockport, was charged with DWI, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, possessing a hypodermic instrument and failure to keep right Tuesday. A deputy pursuing a complaint about a reckless driver stopped Parker's vehicle in the 2500 block of Ridge Road about 9 p.m. During the interview, Parker confessed she had consumed Xanax and heroin about 4 hours earlier, the report said. Parker was held at Niagara County Jail on $250 bail pending an Oct. 2 appearance in Cambria Town Court.

• CONTEMPT: Peter J. Digiacomo, 25, 1755 Falls St., Niagara Falls, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, false personation and resisting arrest Monday afternoon at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Church Road. A sheriff's patrol checked out a report of a suspicious parked vehicle at the cemetery and found Digiacomo and a woman sitting on the grass outside the vehicle. A records check indicated Digiacomo is the subject of a court order directing him to stay away from the woman, the report said. Digiacomo originally gave a false name when asked, and upon detention tried fleeing the deputy and a state trooper, the report said. Digiacomo resisted cuffing, screamed, spit at and tried kicking the officers; he continued kicking and flailing after three officers finally got him into a patrol car and he was pepper-sprayed, the report said. Digiacomo was arraigned in Cambria Town Court and was ordered held on $500 bail pending an Oct. 17 court date.

The battery cables were red and black and measured about 2 feet long each. The door frame on the garage was damaged, the report noted.
