Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — • DWI: Danielle J. Parker, 3652 Ewings Road, Lockport, was charged with DWI, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, possessing a hypodermic instrument and failure to keep right Tuesday. A deputy pursuing a complaint about a reckless driver stopped Parker's vehicle in the 2500 block of Ridge Road about 9 p.m. During the interview, Parker confessed she had consumed Xanax and heroin about 4 hours earlier, the report said. Parker was held at Niagara County Jail on $250 bail pending an Oct. 2 appearance in Cambria Town Court.
• CONTEMPT: Peter J. Digiacomo, 25, 1755 Falls St., Niagara Falls, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt, false personation and resisting arrest Monday afternoon at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Church Road. A sheriff's patrol checked out a report of a suspicious parked vehicle at the cemetery and found Digiacomo and a woman sitting on the grass outside the vehicle. A records check indicated Digiacomo is the subject of a court order directing him to stay away from the woman, the report said. Digiacomo originally gave a false name when asked, and upon detention tried fleeing the deputy and a state trooper, the report said. Digiacomo resisted cuffing, screamed, spit at and tried kicking the officers; he continued kicking and flailing after three officers finally got him into a patrol car and he was pepper-sprayed, the report said. Digiacomo was arraigned in Cambria Town Court and was ordered held on $500 bail pending an Oct. 17 court date.
• BURGLARY: A property owner in the 6200 block of Jockey Road reported a garage was broken into, and quantities of battery cables and welding cables were taken, sometime between Monday and Wednesday. Two welding cables were black and measured about 75 feet long each, the sheriff's report said; one had a stinger end, the other had a ground clamp and both had an eyelet on one end. The battery cables were red and black and measured about 2 feet long each. The door frame on the garage was damaged, the report noted.
