BLOTTER: Police reports published Sept. 28

Lockport Union-Sun & Journal — • BURGLARY: A property owner in the 1900 block of Fuller Road reported his garage was broken into, and items were taken, overnight Tuesday-Wednesday. It appeared someone tried to raise an overhead door with a crowbar or similar object and damaged the door in the process, the sheriff's report said; the chain on a mandoor was cut and that door was damaged as well. The owner said a couple of red plastic 5-gallon gas cans, and about 8 gallons of gas, were taken. Damage to the garage is estimated at $400.

Ransomville

• MISCHIEF: A homeowner in the 2600 block of New Road reported someone threw a large rock through a patio window, and a hammer through the living room window, overnight Sunday-Monday. The homeowner recalled hearing a sound, like breaking glass, about 1 a.m. Monday, the sheriff's report said. Damage to the windows is estimated at $200.
