Despite drawing six walks over the first four innings, the Niagara Power couldn’t cross the plate Tuesday in Brockport, and ultimately lost their second straight New York Collegiate Baseball League game, 4-0, to the host Riverbats.
“We didn’t execute in certain situations,” Power manager Sam Kirby said. “We couldn’t get that timely hit when we needed it.”
Ben Lillis, Joel Blomberg and Tim Purdin had hits for Niagara (12-19). Harrison Helms was handed the loss.
The Power play at at Webster today, and return to Sal Maglie Stadium at 7 p.m. Friday for their only home game of the week, a rematch with Brockport.
