Blue Zone is N-O boys soccer Titletown

Panthers capture school's first ever N-O soccer title outright

“Jon has shown a lot of effort in practice improving his total game,” Whalen said, as Lockport won game two, 25-18.
Game three was a little sloppy for the Lions.  “We had many new faces who were working hard, but made a few too many errors against a determined home squad,” Whalen said.
The game see-sawed until we couldn’t get out of our own way. NT won game three 29-27.
Lockport (8-3 NFL, 12-5 overall) returned to form in the fourth game, and completed the match by winning 25-8.
“We should probably have gotten out of the match in three straight games, but it’s just as important for our bench, and the starters who played with them, to find ways to settle down and seal team victories,” Whalen said.
Outside hitter Andrew Metzger and libero Eli Sobus had a strong match for NT (4-7 NFL).
Lockport’s Eamon Yates played a solid overall game passing and hitting well, Bryce Perry also contributed with timely passing and a solid front row.
The Lions return to action on today in the Lions’ Den against the visiting Billies of Williamsville South.
