LHS spikers still unbeaten in NFL play

Lady swim Lions tame visiting N-W, Barker field hockey team suffers rare loss.

MEDINA — On a pleasant fall Tuesday afternoon, the Mustangs turned in an inspired effort in a tri-meet sweep against Roy-Hart and Wilson, in Niagara-Orleans League competition.
Medina's Austin Heil led all runners with a time of 18:28, while the Mustangs' Dalton Cerbone came in second with a time of 19:08. Wilson's Wes Trank finished in third place.
Medina defeated Roy-Hart 19-37, and defeated Wilson 24-32. Wilson was able to earn a split by defeating Roy-Hart, 23-32.
The Mustangs move to 4-3 in league competition, while Roy-Hart drops to 1-6. The Lakemen are now 2-5.
 
Barker 15, Akron 48
AKRON — Barker's Sergio Cruz led all runners with a time of 17:25, as the Raiders won a dual Niagara-Orleans League meet on Tuesday afternoon.
Barker's Bryce Moeller took second, while the Raiders' Hayden Hathaway finished third. The best Tiger finisher was Tyler Gratz, who came in sixth overall.
Barker improves to 7-0 in the league, while Akron drops to 4-3.

Albion 17, CSAT 46
AKRON — Newfane's Ethan Morgan led all runners with a time of 19:16, as the Panthers swept a Niagara-Orleans League tri-meet at Akron Falls Park on Tuesday afternoon.
Albion's Evan Pappalardo and Jason Downs took third and fourth place, respectively.
Newfane improves to 6-1 in league play, while CSAT falls to 0-7. Albion is now 4-3.

Wilson 15, Medina 50
MEDINA — Medina's Holly Heil led all runners with a time of 21:45, as Roy-Hart earned a sweep of a Niagara-Orleans League tri-meet on Tuesday afternoon.
Roy-Hart's Chelsea Herriven came in second place, while Wilson's Victoria Couturier took third.
Roy-Hart improves to 3-4 in league competition, while Medina falls to 0-7. Wilson is now 3-4.
