Under the guidance of coach Mary Dooley, the Lady Mustangs return to action Thursday in a home contest against Akron. Start time is slated for 4:30 p.m.

LOCKPORT — Lions senior forward and UB bound diamond star Charlie Sobieraski poured in a game-high 19 points and added 13 rebounds to spark head coach Dave Gilson's Lions (5-1 NFL, 6-3 overall) to victory on Wednesday night.
Mo Townsend added 17 points for LHS and senior Ryan Lawrence chipped in with 10 points and 8 rebounds.
A 21-5 second quarter was the difference in the Lions' Den.
Adam Geib led the Bulldogs (1-5 NFL) with 10 points.

Barker 72, Roy-Hart 47
BARKER — A 29-11, third-quarter spurt was the difference in Barker on Tuesday night as head coach Dave Carson's team improved to 4-0 in the N-O and are 8-0 overall.
Mitch Luckman led the Raiders with a game-high 26 points. Fellow junior Chris Sweeney added 18 points and senior all-everything Jake Haight chipped in with 11.
Alex Stoddard topped the Rams (3-2 N-O) with 12 points. Fellow senior Cody Breedlove added 10 points.
“I think difference in the game was the third quarter — which was a big quarter for Sweeney and Luckman,” Carson said.
“Luckman had nine points with two threes and Sweeney had 11 points with three, three-pointers in that quarter. That was a good third quarter for the Raiders.”

Albion 65, Newfane 64
ALBION — Josh Kneeland led Newfane with 29 points and 14 rebounds, but Albion eked out a narrow victory in a Niagara-Orleans League contest on Tuesday evening.
Sean Costello added 17 for the Panthers, while Nathan Aurenhamer netted 11. Kneeland had a shot from eight feet to win the game at the buzzer, but it did not fall.
Des Blackmon led Albion with 16 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while Ryan Fannin added 15 points and 11 boards for the Purple Eagles. Austin Loyd netted 13 points for Albion.
