Swim Lions dunk the Falls

R-H boys, Newfane girls clinch at least tie for respective N-O titles

Williams, a senior co-captain, executed a brilliant reverse one-and-a-half tuck to close the show on Sean Kearns of the Lions in an entertaining, two-man diving competition. Williams posted 220.88 points to place first. He said he plans to study physical therapy and hopes to dive at college and is yet uncommitted.
“I thought that our younger swimmers swam very very well tonight under rough conditions of illness on the team,” said Wolverines head coach Ed Maynard. “JaRon did a good job. He missed the state cut a year ago by just eight points and by just 12 the year before. He’s a good kid and a good leader. I hope he reaches the Promise Land this season.”
Lockport won the junior varsity meet, 91-58.
