GASPORT — Fort Hyde Kennels, 8513 Ridge Road, will host its annual carnival from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. A variety of local vendors and animals will be on hand and there are plenty of prizes to be won in the Chinese auction.

Dog demonstrations will start at 1 p.m. Goat chip bingo will start at 2.  Prize drawing will take place at 3 p.m.; winners need not be present.

Fort Hyde Kennels is a pet boarding facility that offers additional services including Shiatsu massage for dogs, animal grooming and training. Training areas are obedience, agility and dock diving. Nail trims are offered for rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs and reptiles; wing and nail trims are offered for birds, all on an appointment basis.

Fort Hyde is the home of “Yappy Hour,” during which dogs are separated according to weight and given a secure area in which to play with other dogs.
