Two employees at XPO Logistics, Roger Mangine and Christopher Klosin, were killed when several 800-pound slabs of countertop material collapsed inside a shipping trailer early Monday morning. 

City of Lockport

• UNLICENSED: Nicholas C. Mcconnaughey, 47, 141 Caledonia St., Apt. 3, was charged on Sunday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation and drinking alcohol in motor vehicle after an 8:08 p.m. traffic stop on Ontario Street. A records check showed he had a revoked non-driver ID, according to the Lockport Police Department.

• UNLICENSED: Charles Cammilleri, 51, 5611 Jeffrey Drive, was charged on Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation and operating an unregistered motor vehicle after a 4:50 p.m. traffic stop on East Avenue. A records check showed that his license was revoked, according to Lockport Police Department. He was given a ticket.

• OBSTRUCTION: Paul W. Pierce Jr., 37, 151 John St., was charged on Saturday with criminal obstruction of breathing and endangering the welfare of a child. A woman said he grabbed her by the throat, according to Lockport Police Department. The woman's son was present while this happened. Pierce was detained pending a court appearance.
