Three Newfane residents are facing charges after the Niagara County Drug Task Force executed two search warrants early Monday and discovered meth labs.
Task force officers executed a search warrant at a residence on the 5000 block of Ide Road at 6:30 a.m. Monday and discovered Holliane M. Balk, 28, and Walter T. Fraser 41, with meth-making materials. Balk and Fraser were both charged with second- and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
Fraser also had an active arrest warrant for misdemeanor drug possession in the town of Lockport, stemming from a Feb. 4 incident.
Less than 30 minutes earlier Monday, task force officers executed a search warrant at a residence on the 7000 block of Railroad Avenue and discovered Britannee A. Holm, 29, with meth-making materials. She was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police say the arrests followed a month-long investigation into drug activity at the two residences.
