City of Lockport

MENACING: Carl Mazyck, 42, 19 Tudor Lane A-1 apt. A, was charged with second-degree unlawful imprisonment, second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree menacing Monday in connection with a Jan. 23 incident, according to Lockport police. Mazyck was arrested during a traffic stop and was taken to city court for arraignment.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT: Mark Case, 64, 5819 Meahl Road, was charged with criminal contempt and second-degree harassment Monday in connection with a Jan. 24 incident, according to Lockport police. Case turned himself and was taken to city court for arraignment.

ASSAULT: David P. Smith, 40, no address, was charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest and obstruction of a government official Monday in connection with a Jan. 18 incident involving a Lockport city police officer on Lake Avenue. Smith was taken to city court for arraignment.

MISCHIEF: Amber N. Clark, 32, 6106 Ruhlman Road, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief Jan. 24 in connection with a window-smashing incident at Affinity Foxwoods Place Apartments, 6134 Ruhlman Road, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office. Clark received a ticket to appear in town court on Feb. 26.

LARCENY: A property owner on the 7200 block of Woodbury Drive reported a black Tuft tool box was taken from the covered bed of his pickup sometime between Jan. 20 and Jan. 25. According to the sheriff's office, the tool box contained about $800 of miscellaneous tools. The owner is unsure when or where his pickup was breached and the sheriff's office considers the case closed pending new information.
