City of Lockport
• SUSPENDED: Christopher D. Redding, 35, 385 Mill St., was charged Sunday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed motor vehicle operation and operator leaving the scene of a property damage accident. A woman who lives on Clinton Street said a truck pulled into her driveway and when it backed out, struck and damaged her fence in the process, according to Lockport Police Department. Police went to Redding’s house and he did admit to the damage. A records check showed his license was suspended, according to LPD. He was given a ticket.
• DWI: Samuel T. Hayden, 25, 4272 Berner Parkway, Gasport, was charged on Sunday with driving while intoxicated, an equipment violation and no/insufficient tail lamps. He was detained in lieu of $100 police bail.
• PETIT LARCENY: Chad S. Bower, 45, no permanent address, was charged on Friday with petit larceny. He allegedly walked into Rite Aid and filled a basket with $110.57 of merchandise and did not pay for it, according to Lockport Police Department. He was also charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen property after allegedly taking a women’s vehicle valued at $9,000. Police found it parked outside of a Cottage Street home. He was detained pending a court appearance.
