Barker Central School District plans to contract with Castallo & Silky LLC consulting firm to handle its superintendent search.
The search to replacing retiring Superintendent Roger Klatt should get underway officially next month, when the board of education approves an agreement with Castallo & Silky at its Dec. 11 business meeting, Klatt said this week.
Klatt is retiring from the superintendency of both the Barker and Royalton Hartland districts next spring. Roy Hart is conducting its own superintendent search with the goal of having Klatt’s replacement appointed by late March. The Barker district’s goal is to have a new superintendent in place on July 1.
