Understanding Credit Scores and Reports, a workshop, will be presented from 6 to 7:30 p.m. May 30 at Lockport city hall. Admission is free and all are welcome.

The workshop is presented by Trina Burruss of Northwest Bank, in partnership with Consumer Credit Counseling Services and the City of Lockport. The workshop offers information on: creating and maintaining a budget; setting goals for spending, saving and debt repayment; how to read a credit report and the importance of a good credit score; ways to maintain a healthy credit score; and ways to repair bad credit.
