Lions win Ken-Ton Invitational

The Lockport track and field teams continued their strong season Saturday, combining to win the Ken-Ton Invitational.

The Lockport boys placed first, getting individual wins from Jalyn Jones (100), Collin Thompson (200) and Malik Brooks (400) while their 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams also were victorious.

On the girls' side, Kahniya James scored a pair of wins (100, 200) for the Lady Lions. Sydney Nowicki took the 3,000 and Lockport also won the 4x100 relay.

Lewiston-Porter had a pair of individual winners, with Cole Accetta taking the boys' 1,600 and Claire Skowronski winning the girls' 800.

Niagara Falls' quartet won the 4x800 boys relay.

Grand Island's Alexandra Jensen was the final local winner, taking the freshmen girls 1,500.
